I was approached by Dan Lucey and Jon Marshall, at the time with Saatchi&Saatchi and DiMassimo in NY, to photograph a spec for a Dutch beer company. The concept: A beer ad with non-traditional blondes. I liked one-of-a kind.

It was the 1st proper meal I've had with them in a decade. We ate goat liver, intestines, steak, goat shoulder, and roasted jalapenos aka chiles toreados. All in tacos. We were the only customers in the restaurant. It was a weekday night. Thanks to the gentleman for pushing the button.

She was into the music and admired the ceilings. I tortured her a bit after the TOP image. I took her on my rooftop during a NYC winter. I must've made an impression. She told me to fuck off and ended the shoot. Kitty and all.

My attraction to L.A.

I had 3 hours to walk around Hollywood Blvd. Images were taken on my last trip to visit Meg in L.A. We were trying the romantic idea. It lasted 6 months. We saw each other 3 times and talked almost every day. We tried. Logistically it ended on the phone. Realistically it ended when she wore the super tight shorts. I arrived in a car service. She waited at the nest. We walked and visited a lot of parks that weekend. Shopped of course.
